The forehead lift raises the upper third of the face including the forehead, eyebrows and upper lids. Lifting the temples in conjunction with the forehead lift , or as a procedure by itself, lifts droopy corners of the eyes.

An incision is made either at the hairline across the forehead, or a few inches further into the scalp. The skin is lifted, pulled upwards, and excess skin is excised. The temple lift is done the same way but the excision is limited to the temple area. These procedures subtly change the appearance of a tired and drawn looking face into one that looks younger, brighter and refreshed.
